Niki Chatel
Store Manager

Niki’s journey into the pool and spa world started the way all great careers do—by accidentally stumbling into a hot tub at a party and deciding, “This is the life.” After several very relaxing hours soaking and reflecting, she had an epiphany: “I want to help others experience this level of comfort.”

So, she jumped into the pool (metaphorically) and joined the Pools Plus team. Whether it’s helping customers find the perfect hot tub or ensuring pool water is as clear as her enthusiasm, Niki’s mission is simple: to make people’s lives a little more chill, one bubbly soak at a time.

If you need a pool or spa solution, Niki’s your go-to—because, let’s face it, who better to trust than someone who’s been relaxing on the job since day one?

Dylan Deroshia
Store Manager

Dylan didn’t choose the pool life—it chose him. After years of mastering water chemistry and lounging in hot tubs, he knew his destiny was clear—literally.

Now at Pools Plus, Dylan’s on a mission to fight murky water and help customers find their perfect hot tub. With a water test kit in one hand and a spa recommendation in the other, he’s here to make sure your backyard oasis is flawless.

Need clear water or the ideal spa? Dylan’s got you covered. Just don’t challenge him to a cannonball contest!

Faith Potter
Store Manager

Faith has always been inspired by the little mermaid princess and adored how she could clearly see all the scales on her tail while she swam through the water. One day Faith was flapping her look alike mermaid tail in her cloudy pool. As she was doing a mermaid flip she smashed her head into the side of the pool because she could not see and was rushed to the hospital. She entered into a coma where she dreamed about being under the sea with her mermaid friends. When she awoke from her coma 6 months later she had the realization that everyone needs to have clear water in their pools so they can swim fearlessly. She got a job at Pools Plus where they granted her the dream of clearing cloudy water for all the people of the pool kingdom and now she never has to worry about not being able to see the scales on her mermaid tail ever again.

Scott Wheeler
Owner

Scott started his career as an astronaut who took 4 trips on the shuttle and was instrumental in the building of the International Space Station. After an early retirement, Scott began his career as a body builder and eventually won Mr. Universe. Tiring of that, Scott decided to swim across the Pacific Ocean which took him just 14 days! He then moved on to Pools Plus where he works tirelessly to clear up cloudy pools and to kill off really tough strains of algae.

Adam Soehner
Operations Manager

In Adam’s early years he was recognized by his peers as a gifted napper and eater. As a young adult, these gifts propelled Adam into the world of competitive eating in which he proudly took 2nd runner up at Cheboygan City Fair eating competition, a record that stands today. With his career at such heights, sadly the politics involved with competitive eating forced Adam to move on to his real passion, science. Unbeknownst to many, even family and friends, Adam was a closeted chemistry fanatic. He could be found in that closet running tests and experiments every night. Eventually he emerged and was recruited by Pools Plus to use his chemistry powers for good, balancing customers pool and spa water. As you have likely heard it said, even though Adam’s pH is 14, he is anything but basic.

Bryan Larocque
Sales Manager

As he walked with dust in his eyes down the long highway that is Route 66, he was confronted with a choice: Should he continue living as a drifter or pursue his calling as a glorified pool boy. Luckily for West Michigan, he chose the latter. Now you can find the former drifter helping customers build the pool of their dreams.

Jessica Wheeler
Sales Associate

Jessica was born a baby genius and an idiot-savant. She could read at the age of 6 weeks and was driving cars by the age of 2! After graduating from Yale at the age of 7, she decided to get another degree from Harvard! She recently published her 3rd novel, a self-help book and is considering a run for President. While she decides, she tests water and battles cloudy water here at Pools Plus!

Marcus Moncrief
Service Manager

Marcus was trained from the age of 6 by MI6 in England. He specialized in chemicals and their handling. After a few years of hiatus, he decided to settle down for a quiet life with a job where he could still put his skills to use. Now you can find Marcus either building a pool or fixing a spa. Even though, there is some speculation if he is still living a double life as an agent. We. May. Never. Know.

Bri Hebert
Sales Associate

As a young child Brianna embarked on a career of dancing water aerobics. One day at the olympics she was striving for the gold medal, when she slipped on algae at the bottom of the pool, causing her wonderful performance to be ruined. She was determined that her ultimate goal was to work for Pools Plus to rectify that problem so that no one would ever have algae in there pool. She happily returned to the olympics and won her gold medal after being employed by Pools Plus.

Jonah Bunce

Ike
Store Manager

Ike… who is he? What can be said about him? …Except that he spent too many years fighting to right the wrongs of the world as a private detective. Too many close calls… too many nights spent with his nose to the grind stone, up to his neck in mysteries. He found peace poolside… the sound of the water gently lapping at the vinyl pool walls. There was only one mystery that still ate away at him… what was this cloudiness that plagued the water?…. Due to his previous life as a private detective… his identity remains a secret…
